Stefanos Tsitsipas calls on the Greek community in Australia to embrace his Spanish girlfriend, Paula Badosa, and support her as one of their own.

Having found a home away from home in Australia thanks to the vibrant Greek community, Tsitsipas knows firsthand the power of their passionate support. When Melbourne's Greek community comes alive during the Australian Open, the backing for Tsitsipas is tangible.

This year, Tsitsipas hopes Badosa can experience the same warmth from his fans.

Tsitsipas to the Greek Community: Shower Badosa with Love and Support

"She [Paula Badosa] has been a crucial part of my year, bringing me immense joy and confidence in my daily life," Tsitsipas declared on 2GB. "Paula is a tremendous source of support. We've built a remarkable relationship, and she's my biggest fan, just as I am hers. We lift each other up."

He continued, "I would love for the Greek people to embrace her. Australia doesn't have a large Spanish community, so if you see Paula, please support her with the same love and encouragement you shower me with."

Tsitsipas and Badosa, since publicly confirming their relationship in early June, have been vocal about their aspirations. On multiple occasions, both have shared the dream of conquering Grand Slams and ascending to the No. 1 ranking together.

Coming off an injury-plagued second half of 2023, both players hope for a strong start to their 2024 seasons. How they fare in Australia and whether they can realize their Grand Slam dream together remains to be seen.
