Baby serious after testing positive for cocaine

3-month-old baby boy urgently moved to Naples hospital

ROME, JAN 11 - A three-month-old baby boy is in serious condition in a Naples hospital after testing positive for cocaine.

The discovery was made Wednesday by doctors in the paediatric department of Salerno's Ruggi hospital.

The little boy had arrived at the paediatric emergency department in a very serious condition, and was treated before being taken to Santobono hospital in Naples.

The doctors managed to stabilise him, arranging for him to be transferred by helicopter to Santobono, where he is still hospitalised. (ANSA).
