Evening Standard on Ellinikon: Beacon of innovation and milestone in the development of Greece

An extensive feature on The Ellinikon and the transformation journey of Athens through the largest development project in Europe, currently underway by Lamda Development, was hosted by the British newspaper Evening Standard.

The publication presents The Ellinikon as a beacon of innovation that marks an important milestone in the country's development, with luxury shopping malls, high-end hotels, the tallest green skyscraper, Riviera Tower, and plans for 8,000 homes.

It is also pointed out that the urban regeneration of Ellinikon, an investment of 8 billion euros, covers an area three times the size of Monaco, is considered by many Athenians as "signalling" change of the city and indeed of the country, which promises long-term investments and the regeneration an abandoned space.

The British newspaper refers, among other things, in detail to the architectural offices that have undertaken individual renovation projects, as well as to the LEED certifications that will be received by buildings being constructed.

Reference is also made to the first residential developments within Ellinikon, which have already been pre-sold, as well as to the recently announced developments, such as the creation of Little Athens, 1115 new homes and shops, with high demand.
