Fire on Andros island: Firefighters arrive from Syros and Tinos

On Friday, nine firefighters with three trucks and an aircraft were trying to extinguish a fire on the east side of the island of Andros in the Achla area.

Volunteer firefighters are assisting with trucks and local government water trucks.

They will be assisted by a ground crew from Athens arriving by helicopter while arriving by boat. There will also be six firefighters with two trucks from Syros and three firefighters with one truck from Tinos.
