Greece and USA to Collaborate on Building Seven State-of-the-Art Frigates

Greece's Minister of Defence, Nikos Dendias, has made an official announcement regarding Greece's ambitious plan to construct seven cutting-edge Constellation-class frigates.

This initiative clearly demonstrates the nation's commitment to enhancing its naval capabilities. The Ministry of Defence has stated that discussions are already underway with the United States for a joint effort in designing and producing these frigates. Furthermore, on January 16th, 2024, the U.S. Navy issued a letter of acceptance, acknowledging Greece's keen interest in co-producing and designing the seven new Constellation-class frigates within Greek shipyards.
