Greek Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Kostas Fragogiannis concluded a two-day visit to Istanbul on Friday, where he was accompanied by high-ranking officials from approximately 100 companies and institutional representatives.
He expressed the positive atmosphere in Greece-Turkish relations during the 6th session of the Joint Economic Committee of Greece and Turkey.
Co-chaired by Fragogiannis and Turkish Deputy Minister of Trade Mustafa Tuzcu, the meeting concluded with signing the final document after extensive discussions involving delegations from both sides.
Fragogiannis emphasised the positive trajectory observed in Greek-Turkish economic relations, particularly in tourism.
He highlighted the Turkish side's favourable response to expedited visas for Greek islands.
The deputy minister said the objective was to double annual trade volume, aiming for 10 billion dollars annually.
