Dioptra publications are releasing the new detective novel by the author Alex Michaelides, entitled "To Menos", which is already gathering positive reviews.
As the author himself stated: “I'm very proud of Menos, and I had so much fun writing it, more than anything I've written so far. As a Greek Cypriot, I wanted to return to my roots and set the book in the world I know best: a Greek island. I've spent many summers in the Greek islands, and I can't think of a more evocative, beautiful and haunting place to set a thriller."
The plot of the novel takes place on a stranded island. A murder with six suspects. In this story, you can't trust anyone!
Alex Michaelides was born and raised in Cyprus. He holds an MA in English Literature from Trinity College, University of Cambridge, and an MA in Screenwriting from the American Film Institute in Los Angeles.
The Silent Patient, his first novel, hit #1 on the New York Times bestseller list and has sold over 7.5 million copies worldwide. Rights have been sold in 52 countries, and the book is set to be made into a film by production company Plan B.
Daughters, his second novel, was on the New York Times and Sunday Times bestseller lists and will be brought to the small screen by Miramax Television and Stone Village.
