Greek Anarchist Group Responsible for Bomb Sent to Court President

A self-proclaimed Greek anarchist group named "Armed Response" has claimed responsibility for sending an envelope containing an explosive device to the President of the Court of Appeals in Thessaloniki, last Monday, February 12th, 2024.

The group made the claim in a post on a website associated with the anti-authoritarian movement. The envelope, intercepted and rendered harmless by authorities, contained 480 grams of gelatodynamite, a powerful high explosive.

Following the discovery, the Greek Police's Anti-Terrorist Service assumed responsibility for the investigation. This incident has raised concerns about potential threats and security measures within the Greek legal system.
