Air Serbia Ends Partnership with Marathon Airlines Following Flight Incident

Air Serbia, the national carrier of Serbia, has announced that it will end its partnership with Marathon Airlines following an incident involving a flight operated by the Greek carrier.

The flight, which was heading to Dusseldorf, suffered damage shortly after takeoff but returned safely to Belgrade with no injuries to passengers or crew. The extent of the damage has not been disclosed as an investigation is currently underway. Air Serbia has stated that it will not provide any further details until the investigation is complete.

The airline has apologized for any inconvenience caused to passengers and has terminated its cooperation with Marathon Airlines. The airport in Belgrade, Serbia, offers frequent flights to various cities in Germany, which is home to a large Serbian community.
