Jacob Collier, one of the most talented artists of the new generation, "the colourful Mozart of Gen Z," according to the New York Times, comes to Greece for the first time at the Municipal Theatre of Lycabettus on July 13, 2024.
Recognised by audiences, critics and musicians, 28-year-old producer, multi-instrumentalist and composer Jacob Collier already has 6 Grammy Awards and eleven nominations, including Album of the Year in 2021. He is the first British artist to win 5 Grammys for each of his first four albums.
Bursting onto the global music scene with his highly successful YouTube covers, Collier caught the attention of Quincy Jones and, under his guidance, released his debut album 'In My Room' in 2016. The album heralded the arrival of a musical genius spanning all musical genres.
Collier has collaborated with Coldplay's Chris Martin, with whom he performed three sold-out concerts at London's Wembley in August 2022 and was featured on his album, This Is What I Mean(2022).
Following the success of his previous albums and his collaborations with titans of the world music scene, such as Herbie Hancock, Quincy Jones, and Hans Zimmer, he continues his artistic path as a special and exciting artist of his generation.
With his new record work, Collier tries to overcome even more the borders of his musical journey and "weave" in an imaginative way all musical genres (jazz, funk, soul, pop and classical music), always with his own special " kaleidoscopic' way.
His world tour this summer promises to be an unforgettable musical experience.
