ATHENS: Iraqi man stabs woman in central shopping street

The attacker is an Iraqi male and was located after the attack - The woman has a stab wound on the left shoulder blade.

A woman was stabbed in the central Athens shopping avenue of Ermou Street on Friday.

Specifically, according to Proto Thema, the woman has a knife wound on her left shoulder blade, and her condition is severe.

An Iraqi man was identified by the Greek police and arrested.

The woman was picked up shortly before 14:00 by ambulance and transferred to Evangelismos Hospital.
