For Chapter 5 of Season 2, Fortnite has formally hinted at the Zeus cosmetic and a Greek mythology theme. This is what the new season has confirmed.

As Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1 draws to a close, excitement for the upcoming season is already at an all-time high. Players have seen a massive Titan Hand with a Pandora’s Box tethered to it emerge from the Ruined Reels gaps in the last several days.

Amidst a Battle Royale match, players experienced the Chapter 5 Season 2 mini-live event as they collaborated to break the chains and unlock Pandora’s Box on the island. A flaming tornado full of demonic souls was then let loose, giving the upcoming Fortnite season a worse outlook.

But after weeks of rumors, Epic Games has finally released an official teaser for Chapter 5 Season 2 that verifies the highly anticipated Greek mythology theme and the arrival of a Zeus skin.

The Greek mythology theme is confirmed by the teaser for Fortnite Chapter 5, Season 2.

The Chapter 5 Season 2 image teaser for Fortnite’s official X account has finally surfaced. It depicts a huge humanoid tossing a lightning-shaped constellation skyward while holding it in their hands. Zeus, the King of the Greek Gods, is easily recognized as this, as he was expected to make an appearance in the upcoming season.

The caption for the teaser included the question, “Can you feel the thunder?” and an emoji of a lightning bolt. Zeus is expected to be a level 100 skin in the next Chapter 5 Season 2 Battle Pass, according to a number of data miners.

Several Fortnite players voiced their excitement on social media following the official teaser drop. “Zeus Boss (battle pass skin most likely) has a mythic lightning bolt that has three different attacks,” stated one such player.

One more person said, “ZEUS! Come on, let’s go! It’s going to be an incredible season! “Hades has no chance against this dude,” remarked a third person. A fourth person added, “I love how Greek god dude casually has grenades strapped to him,” after noticing the skin a little closer.
