Disgraceful images have come to light, revealing a situation of puppy abuse. The person responsible for this in Arkalochori of the municipality of Minoa Pediada in Heraklion, who threw ten puppies in a sack, has caused outrage all across Greece.
The puppies were only a few days old and had not even opened their eyes. They were found alive.
In a related post on Facebook, the Association "Friends of Minoa Pedias Animals" writes:
"New abandonment in Arkalochori!! An unconscious resident of the area probably took them after his dog gave birth and threw them in a field!! Even with closed eyes, they are just a few days old!
"Ten puppies are looking for hospitality immediately!! It's not easy for them to survive and be cared for by a volunteer!! Help us give them a chance to live! Anyone who can host at least one puppy would help a lot!! Please share so we can save them!"
