Thessaloniki: The busts of Macedonian heroes were vandalised by anarchists

The perpetrators spray-painted the bases of the statues in the square.

The cleaning service of the municipality of Thessaloniki immediately intervened to clean the busts of Macedonian heroes, which were vandalised on Monday afternoon in Thessaloniki.

The anarchists spray painted the statues' bases in the square behind the "Agia Sofia" metro station.

This morning, the municipality's crew cleaned the busts.
