Milos is number one in Condé Nast Traveler's choices for 2024

The travel outlet ranked the Greek islands from 1 to 29

Milos is once again number one in Condé Nast Traveler's choices for 2024.

Conde Nast Traveler listed Milos as “best for a photogenic and dramatic coastline,” adding that "Little by little, though, Milos is being discovered."

"Instagram is saturated with no-filter shots of the undulating white cliffs at Sarakiniko, the bottle-green swimming hole at Papafragas, and colourful, rickety syrmata, tiny boat houses wedged between rock and sea," the outlet added.

The tribute's introductory note reads: "Here, we've also ranked the best Greek islands, from 1 to 29. While we love and highly recommend every island on this list—and advocate visiting all of them throughout your lifetime, if you can—we've also edited the list in order so if it's your first time planning a visit to this magical corner of the world, or you just want to branch out from your usual summer isle trip, we can help you choose where to go next. The order below reflects our well-traveled team's personal opinions, the landscapes, food, beaches, hotel options, and more."

It is not the first time that the Cycladic island stands out in the selections of this travel medium.

In the wake of the major international tourism exhibition WTM in London last November, the authoritative British magazine had included Milos among the best destinations to visit in 2024.

As it had reported at the time, it was the definitive guide for the new year, which was created in collaboration with the magazine's editors with destination picks from around the world.

"For months we have researched, debated, and vetted, from a large pool of fantastic cities, regions, and countries with new reasons to visit," he had written and added: "The result is this: our definitive guide to the 24 best places to go in 2024."
