The president of SYRIZA, Stefanos Kasselakis, who will serve his 20-day military service, presented himself at the Artillery training center in Thebes at 16:00.
Mr. Kasselakis was welcomed by SYRIZA member of parliament, Iota Poulos. In principle, the president of SYRIZA visited an optical shop to buy contact lenses, and then he visited a pharmacy to get the essentials he will need in the military camp. In the central square of Thebes, he was warmly greeted by local residents and associations who offered gifts to Stefanos Kasselakis. The father of the president of SYRIZA is also in Thebes to accompany his son to the camp for his short term. Among the people who came to welcome Mr. Kasselakis was a little six-year-old girl who was crying in the hands of the president of SYRIZA. In fact, the president of SYRIZA told the little girl they would meet again on his first visit.
