US sends huge shipment of military equipment to Greece

The American cargo ship Leroy A. Mendonica delivered dozens of Bradley and Abrams infantry fighting vehicles to the port of Alexandroupolis in northern Greece as part of NATO's military reinforcement in Europe.

Greek media reported that the port of Alexandroupolis was overflowing with dozens of Bradley infantry fighting vehicles and Abrams tanks.

"Another transfer of ground military units of the US armed forces has been completed at the port of Alexandroupolis. The cargo ship Leroy A. Mendonica unloaded a large amount of US Army equipment at the port of Alexandroupolis in support of the deployment of the 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division," the statement said. .
