Prime Minister Mitsotakis Identifies Europe's Key Challenges and Solutions in Euronews Interview

In an interview with the television network Euronews, Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis highlighted three significant challenges facing Europe in the near future and the necessary solutions.

Firstly, Mitsotakis emphasized the imperative of transforming strategic autonomy into a tangible and effective policy rather than merely a slogan. He underscored the importance of increased coordination in defence spending to bolster Europe's defence capabilities.

Thirdly, Mitsotakis focused on the agricultural sector, highlighting the challenge of ensuring food security amidst the ongoing green transition. He emphasized the necessity of implementing green policies at a pace that would not unduly burden farmers and impact their livelihoods.

Mitsotakis emphasized the significance of the European elections within the broader economic and geopolitical context.
