The Consulate General of Greece Honors Nikos Galis for Sporting Achievement


Nikos Galis was honoured by the Consulate General of Greece in Chicago for his contributions to Greek sports.

A special award was presented to Nikos Galis in Chicago, recognizing his significant impact on sports. Known as the "gangster," the basketball legend attended the Consulate's event commemorating the anniversary of March 25. His presence drew a crowd of expatriates eager to see him up close.

In fact, Nikos Galis's presence in Chicago prevented him from attending an event held by Aris to celebrate the 110th anniversary of its establishment.
