Denver Broncos Legends Honored by Hall of Fame: Trainer Steve 'Greek' Antonopoulos

The Pro Football Hall of Fame isn't just about the players who take the field. This year, two Denver Broncos legends who worked behind the scenes received prestigious Awards of Excellence: trainer Steve "Greek" Antonopoulos and former player turned-coach Lionel Taylor.

Antonopulos, a Bronco for Life

Nicknamed "Greek," Antonopoulos dedicated an incredible 45 years to the Broncos, making him the team's longest-tenured employee. He wasn't just there for all eight of Denver's Super Bowl appearances! His dedication to player health and rehab was a key part of the team's success.

Taylor, From Star Receiver to Coaching Greats

Taylor's story is another example of exceptional contributions off the field. He started as a wide receiver for the Broncos in the 1960s, but his impact extended far beyond his playing days. As an assistant coach, he played a crucial role in developing future Hall of Famers Lynn Swann and John Stallworth during his time with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
