How much does it cost to stay in Athens and other popular European cities in April?

The average online price per night in a double room in the hotels of Athens is €164.

Hotel prices continued to increase in April in almost all popular travel cities in Europe compared to the previous month.

The Trivago platform compiled April’s average online hotel prices in popular urban destinations worldwide.

Hotel prices in Athens increased from last month and April 2023. Specifically, the average online price per night in a double room in Athens hotels for April is €164, up from €136 in March and €144 in April last year.

According to Trivago data in other European cities, online prices are as follows: In Amsterdam, the average price is €302 in April compared to €225 last March; in Barcelona, €280 compared to €218; in Berlin, €161 compared to €153; in Brussels, €202 compared to €190; in Dublin, €221 compared to €220; in Istanbul, €124 compared to €111; in Lisbon, €213 compared to €189; in London, €267 compared to €253; in Madrid, €222 compared to €195; in Paris, €263 compared to €253; in Reykjavik, €226 compared to €269; in Rome, €271 compared to €219; in Vienna, €185 compared to €158; and, in Zurich, €270 compared to €269.

In Bangkok, the average price is €69 compared to €68 in March; in Beijing, €136 compared to €137; in Buenos Aires, €108 compared to €117; in Cairo, €104 compared to €101; in Cape Town, €124 compared to €134; in Chicago, €229 compared to €202; in Delhi, €54 compared to €56; in Dubai, €192 compared to €205; in Hong Kong, €166 compared to €165; in Johannesburg, €74 compared to €72; in Las Vegas, €208 compared to €210; in Marrakech, €149 compared to €144; in Melbourne, €151 compared to €173; in Miami, €242 compared to €290; in New York, €381 compared to €331; in Rio de Janeiro, €90 compared to €97; in San Francisco, €190 compared to €205; in Seoul, €137 compared to €127; in Shanghai, €117 compared to €120; in Singapore, €202 compared to €233; in Sydney, €173 compared to €204; in Sao Paulo, €88 compared to €91; in Tokyo, €183 compared to €176; in Toronto, €277 compared to €250; and, in Vancouver, €250 compared to €216.
