Earth Day is an annual celebration that happens on 22nd April! This day goes along by supporting the environment through various activities and events. There are a bunch of Earth Day events in Greece, which include tree plantations, going green, singing Earth Day songs and a lot more.

First held on April 22, 1970, it now includes a wide range of events coordinated globally by EarthDay.org (formerly Earth Day Network), including 1 billion people in more than 193 countries.

For Earth Day 2024 on April 22nd, EARTHDAY.ORG is unwavering in our commitment to end plastics for the sake of human and planetary health, demanding a 60% reduction in the production of ALL plastics by 2040.
