SYRIZA Leader Stefanos Kasselakis Tours Greek Minority Villages in Albania and Epirus

SYRIZA-Progressive Alliance leader Stefanos Kasselakis will be touring the village of Kalpaki in the Ioannina region of Epirus and villages of the Greek minority in the region of Gjirokaster in southern Albania on Thursday.

The main opposition leader's schedule is as follows:

At 8:15 am, he will visit Kalpaki and meet with the region's municipal leaders. At 9:15 am, he is expected to reach the border station of Kakavije (Kakavia), and at 9:30 am, he will arrive at Bularat (Vouliarates), where he will visit the local school and lay a wreath at the war memorial for those who died in 1940.

At 10:30 am, Kasselakis will arrive at the village of Jorgucat (Georgoutsates), where he will meet with the mayor of Dropuli (Dropouli) in the municipality to which the village belongs and with local administrators. At 11:30 am, he will arrive at Vanister (Vanistra) to meet and chat with members of the ethnic Greek community at the 'Kalimera' center. At 12:15 pm, he will visit the village of Vrisera.

The SYRIZA leader is expected to return to the Kakavia border station at 12:45 pm, concluding his tour.
