Tom Jones, Placido Domingo and Gipsy Kings will captivate Greeks other major artists at this year's Sani Festival in Halkidki!

Big names from the international and Greek music scene will perform at this year's Sani Festival, which will take place from July 6 to August 10 in Halkidiki.

Leading Spanish tenor and conductor Placido Domingo, famous Welsh performer Tom Jones, popular jazz songwriter-performer Madeleine Peyroux, the travelling Gipsy Kings, and Greek favourite Mimi Plessas are confirmed performers at the Sani Festival.

This year's curtain will open with Platido Domingo, who, a few days before his big concert with José Carreras at the Panathenaic Stadium in Athens, will be in Halkidiki. Alongside him will be the distinguished Greek lyrical performers Marios Frangoulis and Christina Poulitsi, whom the State Orchestra of Thessaloniki will accompany under the direction of conductor Jordi Bernàcer.

On July 13th, one of the most influential performers of contemporary jazz internationally, Madeleine Peyroux, who has won over international audiences with her magical voice and soulful jazz performances, will take over the baton. In this new visit to Greece, she will present, among other things, the songs from her latest album, "Let's Walk."

Tom Jones is an evergreen superstar with an enviable musical career that spans many decades and records that have sold more than 100 million copies worldwide. He will arrive on July 20 in Halkidiki to excite and captivate his audience with his unique baritone voice and his big, timeless hits, including "It's Not Unusual," "What's New Pussycat," "She's a Lady," "Sex Bomb," etc.

The velvet compositions and beautiful songs that Mimis Plessas has given us during his long musical career will perform on July 27, when the great tribute to his precious musical work will be presented. Stefanos Korkolis, Dimitris Basis and Sofia Manousaki will share with the audience some of the great songs of the composer who has left an indelible mark on Greek music.

The finale of this year's Sani Festival will be rhythmic, danceable, and soaring, with the unrestrained guitars of the Gipsy Kings, led by their leader Tonino Baliardo, wildly playing on August 10, gypsy melodies and international hits of the legendary group, such as "Bamboleo", "Djobi Djoba" etc., which will surely set fire to the Greek summer with their unquenchable passion and energy-filled music.
