Woman Found Murdered in Menidi, Femicide Suspected

A 40-year-old Albanian woman was found stabbed to death in Menidi, Greece this morning. The case is raising concerns of femicide, with authorities focusing their investigation on the victim's estranged husband.

The woman was found on the junction of Parnithos and Aristotelous streets with a knife wound in her abdomen. According to ERT, she had filed two complaints of domestic violence against her 50-year-old husband in the past year, the most recent one on Holy Saturday.
