The perfect lemon cake

Lemon Cake

Learn how to make a light and delicious cake with the freshness of lemon.

Materials for 6-8 servings:

1 Flour
250 gr. butter at room temperature
400 gr. sugar
400 ml milk
Four eggs
1 gr. salt
One vanilla
1 gr. turmeric
50 ml cognac
35 gr. lemon zest
2 tsp. Tablespoon lemon juice


Step 1

Beat the butter and sugar until fluffy, then add the eggs one by one, continuing to beat until they rise.

Step 2

Add the rest of the ingredients and, at the end, the flour and mix lightly.

Step 3

Butter two non-stick round pans with a diameter of 24 cm and divide the mixture. Bake at 180°C with the fan for about 40 minutes, then let it cool well.
