International Humanitarian Aid Convoys Depart from Cyprus to Gaza

In a significant humanitarian initiative, four ships, three from the United States and one from France, are shuttling between the port of Larnaca in Cyprus and the Gaza Strip, transporting vital aid for the civilian population.

The director of the press office of the President of the Republic of Cyprus, Viktoras Papadopoulos, announced that a total of 1,000 tons of humanitarian supplies have been transported over the course of the past weekend as part of the "Amalthia" initiative.

Papadopoulos also revealed that substantial amounts of aid from the United States, United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates, Romania, and other countries have been accumulating at the port of Larnaca, awaiting transport to Gaza. Furthermore, he stated that within the next 24 hours, exclusively Cypriot aid will be dispatched to the embattled region.

This coordinated international effort aims to provide critical relief and support to the civilian population in Gaza, addressing the ongoing humanitarian crisis in the area.
