Stefanos Kasselakis, the President of SYRIZA-Progressive Alliance (SYRIZA-PS), concludes his visit to Palestine today. Yesterday, Kasselakis visited the Al-Aida refugee camp near Bethlehem, where he was accompanied by Palestine's Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, Hani Al-Hayek. During his visit, Kasselakis spoke with camp residents, learning about their circumstances and hearing their personal stories.

Al-Aida camp, established in 1948 following the creation of the State of Israel and the subsequent displacement of hundreds of thousands of Palestinians, is one of the oldest camps in Palestine and currently houses over 6,000 people.

Kasselakis was joined on this trip by SYRIZA-PS Secretary Rania Svigou, Minister of Defence Evangelos Apostolakis, Minister of Foreign Affairs Rena Dourou, and his diplomatic advisor Dimitrios Papageorgiou. This visit underscores SYRIZA-PS's commitment to understanding and addressing the challenges faced by Palestinians.
