Greece Condemns Attacks in Rafah, Calls for Ceasefire and Investigation

The Greek Foreign Ministry has strongly condemned the recent attacks against civilians in Rafah, emphasising the urgent need for an immediate ceasefire. In a statement posted on Twitter, the ministry called for a thorough investigation to uncover the exact circumstances of the attacks.

"Greece condemns the recent attacks on civilians, including children, in Rafah. We stress the need for a thorough investigation to clarify the exact circumstances of the attack," the post read.

The ministry also reiterated the importance of respecting humanitarian and international law by all parties involved. It called for the immediate influx of humanitarian aid into Gaza and the release of all hostages held by Hamas.

"Greece reiterates its call for an immediate ceasefire, respect for humanitarian and international law by all parties, an immediate influx of humanitarian aid into Gaza, and the release of all hostages held by Hamas," the statement concluded.
