Delicious and healthy loukoumades in the air fryer in only 10 minutes


Round and fluffy, loukoumades remind us of our childhood and satisfy our sweet tooth with just a spoonful of honey and lots of musky cinnamon.

Their deliciousness is irresistible when deep fried, but they can be just as delicious in the air fryer. To make healthy loukoumades without oil or frying, you only need two ingredients and 10 minutes.

It is an ideal solution for the afternoon snack, for a quick sweet without unnecessary calories and for the children who love them.

Loukoumades in the air fryer:



200 gr. full strained yoghurt
400 g. self-raising flour
1 tsp. honey
a little cinnamon


Preheat the air fryer. Put all the ingredients in the blender until you have a uniform mixture.

Take the mixture out of the mixer bowl and form small balls.

Place them one by one in the fryer and bake them at 160 °C for about 10-12 minutes (depending on the size of the loukoumades and the air fryer).

As soon as you take them out, pour plenty of honey, grated walnuts, and cinnamon over them and enjoy. Consume them immediately.


Tasty combinations

Of course, we can sprinkle them with grated nuts and some cocoa powder. Chocolate lovers can add a generous spoonful of hazelnut praline or dark, milk or white chocolate couverture after melting it in a bain-marie.
