This installation, crafted from recycled French steel, adorns the south side of the 135-year-old landmark, offering a breathtaking view over the Seine River.

The Eiffel Tower, known as La Dame de Fer (The Iron Lady), will play a central role in the upcoming Paris Games, set for July 26 to August 11, and the subsequent Paralympics. Notably, men's and women's volleyball matches will be held at the base of the 330-metre monument in a temporary stadium on the Champ de Mars. This venue will accommodate nearly 13,000 spectators in an area popular for picnics and firework displays.

Adding to the Olympic spirit, the medals for both the Olympics and Paralympics will feature pieces from a hexagonal chunk of iron taken from the Eiffel Tower, further connecting the Games to this iconic structure.

The excitement surrounding the Games has led to a surge in visitors to the Eiffel Tower, heightening anticipation for the 2024 Paris Olympics.
