Symi: Shocking Testimonies Emerge After Body of Michael Mosley Found

Symi, Greece - The body of British presenter Michael Mosley, 67, was found on the rocks near Agia Marina beach, several days after he was reported missing. The discovery was made by an ERT news crew, who spotted the body from a boat while accompanied by Symi Mayor Lefteris Papakalodoukas.

"Congratulations to the cameraman and Mr. Miaoulis," Mayor Papakalodoukas told ERTNews. "We were together when [the cameraman] saw an object. We investigated, and finally, it was the body of the journalist we have been searching for all these days."

Mosley was found lying on his back against the rocks, suggesting a fall. "[He] appeared to have fallen on his back," an ERTNews reporter stated, describing the scene.

While the exact cause of death is yet to be determined, initial reports indicate a possible heart problem leading to the fall. "According to the first information, some problem occurred in his heart, and he fell on the rocks," reported Aristidis Miaoulis, noting that Mosley appeared to have been dead for several days. An autopsy will be conducted, likely at the Rhodes hospital, to ascertain the exact cause of death.

Mosley's disappearance was officially reported by his wife on Thursday morning, triggering an extensive search. Contrary to initial estimations that he was headed inland, it appears Mosley attempted to reach Agia Marina beach, successfully traversing the steep slope in the summer heat before falling shortly before reaching the shore.

Ilias Tsavaris, owner of a local beach bar, provided a chilling account of the scene. "I approached because of the smell. I couldn't stand it. The man was bruised. He was also badly hit in the head. He was even covered in ants. I hope I will never see such a picture again in my life."

The tragic discovery has sent shockwaves through the community, with many expressing their condolences to Mosley's family and friends.
