Under the chairmanship of New Democracy member of parliament Maria Antoniou, a working meeting of the Greece-India Friendship Parliamentary Group was held in Athens with the Ambassador of India to Greece, Mr. Rudrendra Tandon, in the presence of the Secretary of the Friendship Parliamentary Group, Mr. Thanasis Pafilis and its members.
The meeting, which took place in an excellent atmosphere, reaffirmed the excellent relations between Greece and India, which have been developed at various levels and validated by the exchange of official visits by the Prime Ministers of the two states.
Our two peoples are linked by close ties of friendship and mutual cooperation, carrying the legacy of two ancient cultures with a strong imprint on the present.
New Democracy member of parliament Fanis Papas said: "We discussed the long-term relations and the prospects of strengthening the cooperation between our states!"
