Supercar Engulfed in Flames on Attiki Odos Highway

A major fire broke out Saturday morning on the Attiki Odos highway, heading towards Elefsina, causing significant delays in the area. According to initial reports, a Koenigsegg supercar worth 1.5 million euros caught fire. The vehicle was among the supercars participating in the "6to6 Motor Europe Tour" event held at Zappeion. The owner, a Spaniard residing in the United Arab Emirates, was reportedly inside the car at the time of the incident. Fortunately, both occupants escaped unharmed.

Reports indicate extensive delays exceeding 30 minutes from the Plakentias interchange to the Kifisias interchange due to the incident.
