The restoration works at Tatoi Palace are continuing rapidly, and as can be seen from the photos released by the Ministry of Culture, the works are expected to be completed within the set schedule. The Minister of Culture, Lina Mendoni, inspected the works, which have a total budget of 58,000,000 euros.

As the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced, Lina Mendoni was informed about the progress of the projects at Tatoi Palace and gave clear instructions for their continuation.

"In the context of the regular inspections we carry out on the former royal estate of Tatoi, we thoroughly examined the projects that are in progress and gave instructions for the faithful observance of their completion schedules. We have seen the restoration projects that have been completed, those that are ongoing, and those that need to be accelerated so that they do not deviate from their completion schedule. We examined the course of the construction of the infrastructure networks and the works related to the surrounding area of the buildings-monuments, and we found a satisfactory rate of recording, documentation and maintenance of the diverse collections of the estate," said Lina Mendoni.

"The year 2025 is the milestone for restoring the historical Tatoi, as at the end of it, the main museum infrastructures will be completed and handed over to the public. The restoration, promotion and operation of the estate is a symbolic project in the context of the overall development planning of the government and the Ministry of Culture," she added.

According to the same announcement, restoration work is progressing smoothly.

The palace works are followed by the restoration of the gardens, which is expected to be completed by the end of 2025. The Minister of Culture instructed the immediate preparation of the restoration studies of the greenhouse and the adjacent tennis court so that they can be ready by the end of next year.

The timetable for the completion of the restoration project of the building of the new farm is similar. One of its wings is intended for a museum of the vehicles of the former royal family, while the other will be a museum dedicated to the agricultural and livestock production of the estate.

At the same time, the floor of the new building is converted into a space for conferences and events.

After the restoration of the old stable, the Museum of Royal Carriages will be housed there. Important technical issues that arose during the project's implementation forced the work to be extended, but it is now progressing smoothly.

Specific buildings will house visitable maintenance laboratories, where visitors can follow the restoration process of objects from the estate's collections.

Next year, the completed buildings of the Sturm house, the caretaker's house, the head gardener's house and the telecommunications will also be handed over for cultural use.

The kitchen building is now complete. From the beginning of 2026, it will house the palace's ticket office, cloakroom, refreshment room, and office of the palace museum managers.

Until then, it will temporarily host an exhibition with all the studies and projects carried out in the historical core of Tatoi Palace, alongside the forest ranger's house, which already functions as an Information Centre.

Three buildings—the shelter, which will function as an estate administration office; the piggery, which will function as a souvenir shop; and the seasonal workers building, which will function as a small-scale training and collaboration space with universities—have had their restoration studies completed, and their inclusion in a financing program is expected.

Finally, the preservation and restoration of the royal family's objects continue, as does the process of recording, documenting, digitising, and preserving the Tatoi collections.
