Mats Hummels, who was not included in his national team's squad for Euro 2024, is continuing his summer recovery/preparation alone. A few hours ago, he posted a special photo on his social media.
The footballer wore a jersey he received after the Euro 2012 match between Greece and Germany, which the Mediterranean country lost 4-2.
In his story, he wrote, "It is difficult to find a sports jersey that doesn't cause some stupid rumours afterwards."
It is believed that the shirt belongs to Giorgos Samaras, with whom they had duelled fiercely in that game. The Greek striker found one of Greece's two goals and thus temporarily levelled the game to 1-1. The other was a penalty by Dimitris Salpingidis.
