The Houthis have released footage depicting strikes carried out using unmanned, remote-controlled boats laden with explosives. These attacks targeted a Greek-owned M/V TUTOR bulk carrier in the Red Sea on June 12.
The attack resulted in severe damage to the vessel’s stern and caused flooding. UKMTO later reported that the ship was believed to have sunk a few days after the incident.
The crew were successfully evacuated from the vessel before it went down, but at least one mariner was reported to have been killed as a result of the Houthi attack.
