The Fire Department has been mobilized in several areas of Greece, following the fire fronts that broke out earlier in Argolis and Rodopi.
This time, fires are raging in forest and agricultural land in Kellia, Heraklion, Crete and Agios Vasileios, Tripoli, Arcadia.
Both fires are being tackled by ground and air firefighting forces.
Meanwhile, according to the General Secretariat for Civil Protection, a high risk of fire (category 3) is forecast for Monday, June 24th in Attica, Kythira, Argolis, Messinia, Zakynthos, Kefalonia, Ithaca, Boeotia, Evia, Corinth, Achaia, Ilia and Laconia.
