Skytrax Announces Best Airlines for 2024

The 2024 World Airline Awards, known as the Oscars of the aviation industry, took place at the Fairmont Windsor Park near London Heathrow Airport. Qatar Airways claimed the top honour of "Airline of the Year" for the eighth time since 2011.

Singapore Airlines followed closely behind, securing the second spot, with Emirates ranking third. ANA All Nippon Airways and Cathay Pacific rounded out the top five among the over 350 airlines assessed.

The list of the World’s Top 20 Airlines for 2024 includes a diverse mix of global carriers:

Notably, Delta Air Lines was recognized separately as the best airline in North America, though no U.S. carrier made the top 20 global list.
