The new service, named "Uber Yacht," will be available for pre-booking on the Spanish island of Ibiza starting July 26 and will be operational in August.
In addition to this, Uber will launch a "limo boat" service in Venice, Italy, beginning in July, allowing customers to travel around the Venetian Lagoon.
Uber's data from the summer of 2023 indicates a significant increase in demand from international customers for its mobility services, with a 55% rise in places like Greece and Spain.
The "Uber Boat" service in Greece, which launched last year in Mykonos, will expand to Athens, Corfu, and Santorini, enabling visitors to travel to beach clubs and reach remote areas.
Furthermore, in May, Uber announced a partnership to offer cruises on the Seine River to cater to the high demand anticipated from the upcoming Olympics in Paris.
