Jacob Collier: The popular British artist is coming to Greece to perform for the 1st time!

Jacob Collier

Jacob Collier, one of the most talented artists of the new generation, “the colourful Mozart of Gen Z,” is coming to Greece for the first time on July 13 for a concert at the Lycabettus Theatre in Athens.

Recognised by audiences, critics, and musicians alike, the 28-year-old producer, multi-instrumentalist, and composer Jacob Collier already has six Grammy Awards and eleven nominations, including Album of the Year in 2021.

He is the first British artist to win 5 Grammys for each of his first four albums.

Bursting onto the global music scene with his highly successful YouTube covers, Collier caught the attention of Quincy Jones and, under his guidance, released his debut album, ‘In My Room,’ in 2016. The album heralded the arrival of a musical genius spanning all genres.

Collier collaborated with Coldplay’s Chris Martin, with whom he performed three sold-out concerts at London’s Wembley in August 2022 and was featured on his album, This Is What I Mean (2022).

Following the success of his previous albums and his collaborations with titans of the world music scene, such as Herbie Hancock, Quincy Jones, and Hans Zimmer, he continues his artistic path as a special and exciting artist of his generation.

With his new record work, Collier tries to overcome even more of the borders of his musical journey and weave all musical genres (jazz, funk, soul, pop, and classical music) imaginatively, always in his own special kaleidoscopic way.
