Dee Why, NSW - A frantic search is underway for a 28-year-old woman who recently gave birth and has been missing since Friday night.
Stephanie Castellanos was last seen on Regent Street in Dee Why at approximately 11:10 p.m. Police were notified when she couldn't be located and are deeply concerned for her welfare, as she requires medical attention following her recent childbirth.
Ms. Castellanos is described as being of Caucasian appearance, 175cm (5'9") tall with a slim build. She has long brown hair and brown eyes. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a blue t-shirt, black pants, and socks.
"We are asking for the public's assistance in locating Stephanie," said a spokesperson for the Northern Beaches Police. "Her health and the well-being of her newborn are our top priority."
Anyone who may have seen Ms. Castellanos or has any information about her whereabouts is urged to contact Northern Beaches Police immediately or provide an anonymous tip to Crime Stoppers at 1800 333 000.
