The Hellenic Land Cadastre, pioneering AI in Greece's public sector, launches a pilot program this Thursday to streamline land transactions. AI will analyze contracts, reducing processing times. Digital archives also allow lawyers remote access to property deeds. This transformation promises efficiency, transparency, and reduced bribery risks
Athens, Greece—The Hellenic Land Cadastre, Greece's land registry agency, is leaping into the digital age by launching a pilot program that will use Artificial Intelligence (AI) to expedite land transactions.
This initiative, starting on Thursday, places the Land Cadastre at the forefront of Greek public services utilizing AI technology. The AI tool will be able to analyze land contracts in natural language, automatically recognize relevant regulations, and drastically reduce processing times.
Furthermore, the Land Cadastre is actively digitizing its archives. Lawyers can now access property deed archives online, eliminating the need for physical visits to offices in Athens, Thessaloniki, Piraeus, and 30 other locations.
