An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.2 was registered on Sunday morning off the coast of the Greek island of Crete, according to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre.
The epicenter was located 170 km southwest of Heraklion, a city with a population of approximately 137,000. The quake occurred at a depth of 41 kilometers.
No injuries or damage have been reported.
