JD Vance Criticizes Jennifer Aniston for Involving His Daughter in 'Childless Cat Ladies' Controversy

Republican VP candidate JD Vance has strongly criticised Greek American Jennifer Aniston after she involved his two-year-old daughter in the ongoing controversy regarding his past comments about 'childless cat ladies' running the country.

Appearing on The Megyn Kelly Show on Friday, Vance defended his 2021 remarks, which have sparked significant backlash from cat lovers nationwide. The Ohio senator had argued that women without children lack a 'direct stake' in America's future, describing them as 'miserable with their own lives and choices.'

Aniston, 55, responded to Vance's comments, saying, "Mr. Vance, I pray that your daughter is fortunate enough to bear children of her own one day. I hope she will not need to turn to IVF as a second option because you are trying to take that away from her, too."

Vance fired back, calling Aniston's comments "disgusting" and highlighting that his daughter is only two years old. He added, "If she had fertility problems, as I said in that speech, I would try everything I could to help her because I believe families and babies are a good thing."

The controversy originates from a 2021 segment in which Vance disparaged women without children, including Kamala Harris, while speaking with Tucker Carlson on Fox News. Vance declared, "I'm asserting that this country is essentially governed by the Democrats through a group of childless cat ladies who are discontent with their lives and their decisions, hence they desire to extend their misery to the entire nation. It's simply a fundamental truth. Consider Kamala Harris, Pete Buttigieg, AOC; the whole future of the Democrats is in the hands of individuals who do not have children."
