Greek tennis star Maria Sakkari cruised into the third round of the Paris Olympics with a dominant 6-2, 6-1 victory over China’s Wee Wan.
Sakkari was in complete control throughout the match, overpowering her opponent with powerful groundstrokes and precise shot-making. The Greek number one barely faced any resistance as she swiftly dispatched Wan in straight sets.
With this convincing win, Sakkari has once again showcased her impressive form and will now face the winner of the Clara Burrell-Marta Kostyuk match in the next round.
