We make a delicious sandwich with Russian salad and egg for any time of the day.
Materials for four servings:
For the Russian salad
Four potatoes, boiled
Three carrots, boiled
Three pickled cucumbers
Two boiled beets
500 grams of boiled peas
500ml. mayonnaise
a few drops of red vinegar
salt, black pepper
For the sandwich
Four boiled eggs
Eight slices of rustic bread
One bunch of chives, chopped
some potato chips
Procedure
Step 1
Russian salad: In a salad bowl, cut the potatoes, carrots, cucumbers, and beets into small cubes. Add the peas and mayonnaise and mix. Season with salt and pepper and sprinkle with a little vinegar. Taste and, if necessary, add a little extra salt and pepper, mayonnaise, or vinegar. Put it in the fridge.
Step 2
Sandwich: Pour the eggs into a pot of water, and as soon as they start boiling, boil them for 9 minutes until they become firm. Transfer them to a bowl of cold water for 10 minutes. Peel them. Put the Russian salad on half slices of bread, along with the eggs cut into large pieces, chives, and chips. Cover with the other half slices of bread and serve.
