The girl was vacationing with her parents in Analipsi, Hersonissos, when she suddenly became ill. She was quickly transported to a hospital in Heraklion, where she was admitted to the children's ICU. Despite efforts to save her, she sadly died the following morning.
Her mother revealed to local media that her daughter was born with cerebral palsy. Reports suggest that a sudden deterioration in her condition may have led to her death.
A spokesperson for the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office stated, "We are providing support to the family of a British child who has died in Greece and are in touch with the local authorities."
