Chilling murder of a 3-month-old in Cyprus – Pakistani father was arrested, mother fled to Greece

There were signs of severe neglect and malnutrition – The baby had bug bites all over her body.

In the worst way, a three-month-old baby was killed in Cyprus, causing shock throughout the island. The details of the unspeakable tragedy, which the Cypriot police are investigating as a case of murder, are truly shocking.

Last Sunday, the three-month-old girl who lived in Lakatamia, Nicosia, was taken by ambulance unconscious to the Nicosia General Hospital. The doctors tried reviving the baby there, but unfortunately, it was too late.

Doctors found signs of severe neglect, and they immediately called the police.

As the autopsy confirmed, the baby had insect bites all over her body and was severely malnourished and underweight.

"The infant was in a very bad condition, underweight, not being fed properly. Her diaper had not been changed for days, resulting in the girl's body having the marks. Her little body was full of bites both on the head and on the legs and hands, probably from various bugs," Cypriot media reported.

Police arrested and detained the 23-year-old father of the infant, who is Pakistani and entered Cyprus illegally, while it was discovered that the baby's birth had not even been registered.

The charges against him are related to murder, causing death due to a reckless or dangerous act and neglecting his duty as the head of the family.

As for the mother?

A few hours before the baby was transferred to the hospital, the 21-year-old flew to Thessaloniki, telling her partner she was going there to find a job!

A European arrest warrant has been issued against her for homicide, while the authorities of Greece and Cyprus are cooperating

SigmaLive broadcasted the five-room house where the three-month-old baby lived, together with his parents and other foreigners, causing chills, sadness and anger:
