On Tuesday morning, the fire brigade responded to a new wildfire in the Profartas area of Kalyvia Thorikos, Attica.
The fire, which spread across multiple fronts on the mountain, is primarily burning through low vegetation, according to officials.
A total of 54 firefighters, supported by 14 vehicles and two hiking teams, have been deployed to the scene. Aerial support includes five helicopters and one aircraft actively working to contain the blaze.
